I recently got the book “C is for Chafing” by Mark Remy, and it has inspired me to write a string of 26 blog posts in the next 40 days that highlight my experience with each letter of the alphabet and how that has shaped me as a runner and the relationships that have grown from running. If you have read my previous blog post, “Running and Lent,” you will know that I am doing this as a Lenten exercise to strengthen my relationship with God. I think it is important to note that I am not doing this for myself. Still, my ultimate goal is to examine my relationships with my friends and family and ultimately see how running has impacted that. I hope in my posts we find some humor and good fun. I also hope to highlight the people across the globe that have inspired me in my short running career.
