Wen

Past tense marker. Means 'did' or simply turns a verb into past.

Pidgin uses "wen" (from "went") to mark past tense. "He wen go" means "he went." "She wen eat" means "she ate." Once you hear it, you hear it everywhere.

  • How come you wen go?
